Passing the test, Failing the test

You must score 75% or higher on the test in order to pass. After the test, you will receive a unique reference number which you will need to complete your citizenship application. The Home Office will check this number to ensure that you passed the test before approving your final application.

A score of less than 75% is a failing grade. If you fail the test, you must wait at least 7 days before trying again. You are allowed to take the test as many times as you need, but you must go through the booking process and payment each time.
